Master the Craft

Master the Craft is the blog of self-taught screenwriter, Ryan Johnson. Ryan offers tools, critiques, and lessons from his own experiences to help you take your screenplay to the screen. The final Master the Craft logo reinforces this idea by featuring a written page that transforms into film strip (also forming the letter “M”). We also created a visual matrix of film-related icons and a color codex to delineate content categories and skill levels. The film-related imagery is carried onto the business card — the card is the same proportions of a movie screen and the contact information resembles the end credits of a film.
