In December of 2010, The Tenfold Collective was hired by Uinta Brewing Company of Salt Lake City to redesign their identity and beer packaging. We designed and illustrated 18 beer labels over two product lines. For the next 18 days, we’ll be featuring a different beer on our blog.
Organic Series: Punk’n
Punk’n has already hit the shelves as the fall seasonal in the organic series. The original label featured a line drawing of a pumpkin. For the redesign, we thought it might be fun to push it further by playing off the “Punk” in Punk’n. We tried several smashed pumpkin illustrations, but it wasn’t instantly recognizable as a pumpkin in this illustration style. Ultimately, the client decided to keep it simple by going with a wider pumpkin.
