We’re with them…

France and Germany have banned the complete use of Internet Explorer. After recent research showing that the browser (particularly the infamous IE 6) is vulnerable to major hacking, (not to mention constant design problems and endless nightmares for web developers) the countries decided that it should be thrown out entirely. While we here at Tenfold don’t have a problem with the new versions of IE 7 & 8 to anyone who gets rid of IE 6 and it’s infinite problems, we want to give a big thank you. Bravo. We wish we could pat you on the back.

“Following the news,” reports BBC News (read the article here) “Germany’s Federal Office for Information Security issued a warning against all versions of Internet Explorer and recommended that users switch to an alternative such as Firefox or Google’s Chrome.

The French agency Certa issued a similar warning.

‘Pending a patch from the publisher, Certa recommends using an alternative browser,’ it said.”

We couldn’t agree more. Is there a petition we can sign and send to the White House? Who’s with us?
